With sheer determination and a love and passion for children, Lashaun has made it her mission to provide the area’s best early childhood education experience to all families. She is a mother of 5 children and understands what it takes to ensure your child is on the right path in development.
Inspired by the life and legacy of her older sister Danita Gardner, who is the D. G. in D. G. Foundations Learning Park. It serves as a constant reminder of the level of childcare excellence she hopes to provide for years to come.
Rana Carothers
Co-Owner/ Assistant Director
Rana not only brings her business acumen, but she also brings her love and knowledge of working with children having worked with children for many years. She is also a mother of 7 and is fully aware of the daily challenges of parenthood. She shares the values and beliefs of D. G. Foundations Learning Park. Laying a firm foundation ensures the stability of everything else built on top of it.
Edward Cook
Edward comes with a wide variety of skills that he uses to help keep D. G. Foundation Learning Park on brand and on mission. His creativity helps us to produce professional content for our facility which helps our families and supporters stay connected with updates on the latest happenings. The uncle of 12 nieces and nephews he also comes with personal knowledge and love for children and what it takes to help them succeed.

Deidre’s eye for details and quick thinking make a perfect member for our management team. Deidre’s love for the early childhood education field has led back to school as she pursues her degree in early childhood education. Deidre’s excellent communication skills and problem-solving skills are a true asset to the Learning Park. Not only is she a valuable member of management but a family favorite as a teacher, too.

Akeyra is one of our new members but her ability to uphold the D. G. Foundations Learning Park standard made it clear that she was a great addition to management. Akeyra’s ability to lead our team by example is unmatched. She is hardworking, dedicated, and dependable but most of all she genuinely loves all the children and takes a personal interest in each one of them.
